PlantAware (“PlantAware,” “we,” “us,” or “the App”) helps users identify plants, evaluate visible plant-health issues, receive care guidance, save plants, and track recovery.
This policy explains the information PlantAware processes and how it is used.
PlantAware processes photos that you choose to take or select for plant identification, disease analysis, and related care features.
PlantAware does not access your camera or photo library without your action and permission. Photos submitted for analysis may be transmitted to service providers that perform the requested AI processing or support the app’s backend.
PlantAware does not sell your plant photos or use them for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Saved plants, plant images, health summaries, reminders, and recovery information may be stored locally on your device so the App can provide those features.

PlantAware collects limited product-usage analytics to understand whether important app flows work and to improve the product.

PlantAware’s product analytics are designed not to include plant photos, diagnosis or treatment text, plant notes, your name, email address, or precise location. Product analytics are not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Purchases are processed by the applicable app store. PlantAware uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and paid-feature access.
PlantAware does not collect or store your credit card number.
Subscription-related services may process information such as an anonymous app user identifier, product purchased, purchase or entitlement status, region/currency, and transaction information required to provide subscription functionality.
PlantAware relies on service providers for functions such as AI image analysis, app/backend infrastructure, subscription management, and app distribution.
These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested service. Their processing is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it through the App, delete the App, or otherwise clear the relevant device data.
Information processed by third-party services may be retained for the periods necessary to provide their services, maintain security, comply with law, and operate their systems under their respective policies.
PlantAware does not sell personal information.
PlantAware does not use product analytics for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
PlantAware is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed by PlantAware. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
